Work

Thirteen projects, starting with what small businesses ask for most. The businesses in the demos are made up and each project says so; the apartment in Gąski is a real, paying client. All the code is on GitHub, and you can scroll the live sites right here.

Site kitHTML · CSS · Python
Websites

Four demo websites: a dentist, a heating and plumbing company, an accounting firm and an auto repair shop

Four one-page sites for made-up US businesses: a dentist, a heating and plumbing company, a CPA firm and an auto repair shop. Each has its own look and one thing to try: when your next cleaning is due, a work order that fills in with prices, a fee estimate, what a dashboard warning light means. All four have click-to-call, hours, prices, a contact form and business details Google can read.

Bakery: before and afterHTML · Lighthouse

A page comparing a broken and a repaired bakery website, with Lighthouse scores

A small business site that was broken, and the same site after the fixes. Photos went from 4.9 MB to 303 KB, the layout works on a phone, the form does something and the Polish letters look right. Performance 75 → 92–100, accessibility 45 → 100 in Lighthouse.

Video

Poster frames of two sample promo videos: a heating company and a dental practice

A 15–20 second ad made from a logo, three or four services and a phone number, cut twice: vertical for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, and wide for a website or YouTube. The captions move with the words, so it works with the sound off. Two made-up clients went through the same template; a new client is one new settings file.

FAQ assistantJavaScript · no API keys
Website add-on
marven151.github.io/faq-bot/
Website of a made-up dental practice with the FAQ assistant open in the corner

A help box on the site of a made-up dental practice. Ask whether they take MetLife or say your tooth is killing you, and it answers from the practice's own FAQ, typos and all, with the phone and booking link one tap away. When it doesn't know, it hands you to the front desk and saves the question for the owner. It runs in the browser, so there's no AI bill and nothing leaves the visitor's device; an AI model can be added later.

Illustration of an invoice sheet with an Invoices menu: sent rows with PDF links and two rows ready to send

Three automations that live inside a business's own Google account. Fill in a row and pick Send from the menu: the client gets a numbered PDF from your own template and the sheet records the link. Website form messages land in a sheet with an automatic reply, and every Monday you get the ones nobody answered. Appointment reminders go out 24 and 2 hours before, once each. The picture is an illustration; the code and tests are real.

Sales reportPython · nothing to install
Data
marven151.github.io/csv-to-report/
Monthly sales report for a made-up coffee roaster: totals and a chart by month and channel

Four messy exports from Square, Shopify and QuickBooks for a made-up coffee roaster, turned into one monthly report: sales by month, channel, category and customer, with charts. It reads every date and money format those exports use, drops duplicates from overlapping downloads and lists every row it left out and why, so the totals can be checked.

Book scraperPython · pytest
Scraper
python scrape.py --category travel --details
Terminal output of the book scraper and the resulting travel.csv with 11 books

Pulls a book catalogue from a scraping-practice site and saves it as CSV, JSON or Excel. If the site doesn't answer it tries again, and it pauses between requests so it doesn't hammer the server. The parser has tests, so a change to the page layout won't break it silently.

Sheet mergePython · pandas
Script
python sheet_merge.py orders/ --dayfirst shop_b_orders.xlsx
Sheet-merge summary and the merged spreadsheet of 12 orders from 3 files

Three shops, three different exports: other column names, stray spaces, duplicates. The script merges them into one sheet and adds a list of what it fixed. Dates written as 05/03 cause the most trouble, since nobody can tell May from March, so you can tell it which file writes the day first.

Northside Bikes website: the words Fixed same day, a workshop photograph and a booking button

An invented bike shop in Bristol. Most of the time went into the price list: click a job and the repair ticket beside it fills in with the price and the ready-by time. The booking form checks its fields but sends nothing, because it's a demo.

Holiday apartment website: headline 20 metres to the sea and beach photographs

The website of a real seaside apartment, with a booking calendar. Guests pick dates and get a ready-made e-mail with them filled in. The owner has no admin panel: they mark booked days on their side and upload an availability file. The exact address is given only after a booking is confirmed.

Booking panel: a calendar with booked dates, the price of the stay and an enquiry form

A booking-request system for a small apartment. A guest picks dates on a calendar, sees the price and sends a request, and the owner confirms, declines or blocks dates in a panel. It runs on a real server with a database and automated tests. The online version runs in the browser and keeps data only on your side, the panel password is demo.

How we work together

Sample first
For a data job I first send a free sample of the first rows from your source, so you can check the columns. For a website, a sketch of the home page. You pay only once the sample or sketch suits you. If it doesn't, we part ways at no cost.
Starting prices
A website fix from $60, a one-page site $450, a Google Sheets automation from $120, a FAQ assistant from $150, a promo video from $150, a custom scraper from $99, a lead list $79 per 500 records. The exact price comes by e-mail before I start and doesn't change while the scope stays the same.
Timing
Fixes, data jobs, automations and videos usually take 2–5 days. For a website I show the first version within 5 working days of agreeing the scope. The exact date comes with the estimate.
Payment
Jobs under $300: you pay in full on delivery, after you've checked the data against the sample. Larger jobs: 50% deposit, the rest on approval, before I hand over the files. Card, PayPal or bank transfer; you get an invoice for every job.
Backing out
If the full dataset doesn't match the agreed sample, you don't pay for it. For a website, if you don't want to continue after the first version, I refund the deposit in full within 7 days.
Approval
You have 7 days to comment on a delivery. If you don't get back to me, I pause the work until you do.
Ownership
Once you've paid in full, the script, the data and the website are yours.
Changes
Two rounds of changes are included. Further ones I quote separately, up front.
Files and domain
You get every file. For a website you register the domain in your own name, and connecting it is a $25 extra. You provide the texts and photos unless we agree otherwise.
Bigger projects
Tools, monitoring and apps need looking after once delivered. I agree that separately and up front: a monthly fee or changes at a set rate.
What I don't scrape
Nothing behind a login, nothing that needs a CAPTCHA or a block worked around, and no personal data of EU residents. Public business data, prices, listings and catalogues only, at a polite request rate.

Questions

Do you have clients yet?

The Gąski apartment is a paying site for a family business; the other projects are my own, built to the same standard and with the code public. Because I'm early, every data job starts with a free sample and every website with a free sketch, so you see the work before you pay a cent.

What does it really cost?

The figures in the estimate are starting prices for small projects. I give the exact price by e-mail before I start, and it doesn't change while the scope stays the same.

What do you promise, and what not?

What you can check yourself: a site that works on a phone and has https, a Lighthouse score you can measure without me, and a price that doesn't grow while the scope stays the same. I don't promise first place on Google or a set number of customers, because nobody can honestly guarantee that.

Whose is the code, and what if I disappear?

Yours. You get every file, and I can put the site on your own account, on a domain registered to you. Nothing depends on me, so any developer can make the next changes without my help.

Where will the site live?

On free hosting that allows business sites by default, e.g. Cloudflare Pages or Netlify, set up in your name. If you already have hosting or a domain, I'll connect it for $25.

And if something needs changing after delivery?

Small fixes are included. Bigger changes I quote separately, also up front.

Is scraping legal?

I only take what anyone can see on a public page without logging in, I don't work around CAPTCHAs or blocks, and I don't collect personal data: a lead list holds company details, not people's. I keep request rates low so I don't load anyone's server. If something looks doubtful I'll say so straight away.

Where are you, and when do you answer?

Poland, Central European Time. I answer every e-mail within one working day, so a message from the US gets a reply by your next morning.

How do I pay?

By card through a payment link, by PayPal, or by bank transfer, in US dollars or euros. You get an invoice for every job.

Tell me what you need

A few sentences are enough. I reply by e-mail with a price and a date.

Prefer to talk? Write to me and we'll agree a time for a call.
